OUR SUNSHINE GIRL…

Cascading, bright, curls kissed by the sun,

With an outlook on life that outmatched everyone.

Always upbeat, when the road got rough,

Our sunshine girl was both beautiful… and tough!

Like her namesake –Dianna_ moon goddess of lore,

She shard strength and beauty and was equally adored.

And with her unfailing spirit and generous soul…

Her warrior’s heart remained true and bold.

She faced her opponent with faith and resolve,

And fought with intensity, admired by us, all.

Our Sunshine Girl, whom, nothing could change…

Including the illness, I refuse, here to name.

Our golden Dianna… so loved by us all,

Whose intrepid spirit inspired and enthralled.

Our sweet, dearest girl, with her winning ways…

Will reside in our hearts for the rest of our days.
